Free to Play EverQuest 2?

As the title says, S.O.E. has made a free-to-play server for EverQuest 2, guess where I have been spending all my gaming time for the last week or so?
I got to play EQ2 for the first time a few months after it came out and really enjoyed it. The original EverQuest was my first MMO, and as anyone who knows me can tell you, I have played pretty much every MMO out there since then. I Love RPGs, and am a very social person most of the time, so the MMORPG is like the perfect game for me.
When I got to play EQ2 way back when fell in love with it. Anyone who has played MMOs with me knows I ADORE trade-skills, achievements/collections, and player owned homes, well EQ2 is really good at both those things. Their trade-skill system is loads of fun! They have tons of achievements to earn and collections to find and complete. And they have many homes for you to chose from, a different type in each city, and several sizes/costs of each of those types. And to make the having a house part even better one of the nine trade-skills is carpentry, so you can make furniture for your house! Carpenters can also make inventory containers (boxes), some that are quite big, 40 slots are the biggest if I recall correctly, so they are not just a fluff trade-skill, that and people will often pay well for good furniture.
So of course when I saw that there was to be a F2P EQ2 server I chomped at the bit till it went live. Now it is still in Beta, so I hope they will fix a few things, some of the totally F2P restrictions are a bit bad. You can fix them by paying money, the lowest "paid level" being a one time $10 for decent upgrade. But most of the rest of their paid levels and most of the stuff in their cash store are badly to VERY badly priced. But here is hoping the cash model gets fixed with player feedback.
But the main reason I make this journal is not just to tell you all what I am up to so enjoyably of late, but to also ask if anyone else is playing. Only a few of my friends are interested in playing on the F2P server, the ones that like EQ2 like I do are all on the real servers, I am the only cheap-skate I guess.
I am trying to get enough of my MMO guild-mates together on this server to found a branch of my MMO guild here, so hopefully there will be a new branch of the "Truly Naughty Troop" soon.

i have been doing quite well though. a while back my account got hacked and banned, and blizz dragged it's heels responding to my inquiries so i just made a new one. I've got two 60s(Pally and DK), a 54(hunter) and a 49(druid) so far as my highest.. i;ve also got a 25 priest and a 26 lock that are being leveled too. (total toon whore, lol)
I actually play on Hyjal, though on the Horde side rather than the alliance, since my mate plays Horde and got us into a nice guild that is a ran by one of his friends.
i dun have the time to devote to another game, plus i can't ever really play any others cuz i'm so used to how WoW plays that other MMO controls mess me up >_<
Which sooo reminds me when cata comes out that's gonna stink for me.
