In desperate need of hugs

So, I have to do something, ask someone a question, and the outcome, either good or bad, terrifies me.
If it is yes, I still have to leave the city I have lived in for 23 years, with nothing but the few bags I can take on a plane.
And if no . . . Goddess, I do not know what will happen to me.
The last time I was in at a point like this, I spent the next year so depressed and broken I was not sure I would ever be able to move on, or that I wanted to.
Every time I sit still I start shaking, and my mind keeps coming up with things to be worried about.
And this on top of my first holiday season since I lost the last of my close family.
