Ya know... I'm seeing a lot of parallels with FA that fit the same lines as the old Yerf site. The owners, admins, and "VIP" begin to get ban happy. This recently happened with my friend Kengi.
Here's the sin that made them ban Kengi. He reported someone who was stealing his designs. Yup, that's what did it. I am guessing the argument got rather heated but they banned him for thinking that someone was stealing his stuff. What, was the theif banging the admin that did the ban? How corrupt is that?

Ya know, if there's one thing I stand as an example for... it's that there are people in the world that you fuck with... that you shouldn't have fucked with. I am the fortunate one that I'm usually the one that you find ya shouldn't have fucked with. Do you live in a free country? Do you pay for electricity that is non-nuclear powered? Guess what, you are paying my attorney fees. That's a lot of steady income.
No, I aint gonna go sueing FA or anything, at least not for this sort of thing. The point being, no matter how big they are, no matter how tough they are, no matter how bad ass they are with the ban button the day will likely come that FA will learn in a way that will most definately suck for them... there is someone bigger, badder, and meaner than they can ever be. They're being bullies in a lot of cases. One day they're going to push someone and that someone is going to take them to the metaphorical mat, and give them a proverbial ground and pound until they SQUEEEEEEEL! There are a lot of us who will be there and as that person holds down the owners we'll line up and kick their metaphorical balls with our theoretical feet. I know I'll be there...
and I got some pretty damn big feet.

Here's the thing the admins will say. OH yes, they WILL say it.
"We have the RIGHT to ban anyone we want. It is written!"

Here's the problem with that line. In the end there's two reasons we have a public legal system. We have private attorneys, we have judges, civil suits and such because we also "HAVE THE RIGHT" to sue for pretty much anything. It's also to put bad guys in their place. Because you know what we do to bad men, we punish them. FA may be entering... the Xander Zone. (Tip of the hat to anyone who knows where I got that.)
LAW and RIGHTS are... believe it or not... subject to interperatation. Let's say some big bad mofo with a gaggle off attorneys comes along and an FA admin pushes their buttons and they decide to push back. A silver tongued attorney is all it takes to twist the words around of even THE most cut and dried laws against them. Even if they're in another country, a good legal aide can essentially perform an act that would be the legal equivelant of putting someone who is in say... Ireland... in a headlock and dragging them kicking and screaming into a legal situation that
will
end
badly.

THAT is what the power companies are doing. The guys that employ the attorneys that help me throw my weight around so much. It's what they specialize in, taking the law now matter how clear it is cut and turns it into OUR tool. Remember when that burglar was trying to break into a house, fell through the skylight and got hurt? He sued the home owner... and won. That's what FA should worry about.
At least... the LEGAL thing they should worry about. There are a lot of total psychos who might go vigilante. But frankly I think furry fandom lacks the balls to try anything like that. Still...
We ALL gotta show Kengi love and support. Say something to the admins. He's done nothing but show kindness and generosity to me and many others I know. Without us there is no FA. If enough of us raise our fists in the air, and threaten to cram it up an amdin's ass, maybe they'll cave in. They feel they'rein power.
