Jubei and I were LDR for a while. It was hard, yes, but you learn to appreciate all of the little things that you take for granted. There were times that it was just impossible for us to call, so I'd leave my AIM on with little personalized away messages for him.

But a great place that helped me through it is Lovers Far Away. It's a community just for LDR relationships! You can vent there, cry there, whatever you need to do and people in the same situation will give you all the TLC you need.

i've been in an LDR for almost a year now and it's not terrible.
better for communication, and we got to see each other.
it was fantastic.
now we are determined to make it work until he gets out of college and we can move in together.
the sorrow of separation is nothing compared to the joy of meeting again!

just make sure to KEEP IT ALIVE with roleplay, phone sexins, or kinky webcam stuff lolol.
