Got my ass a job!
Ok well not actually my ass, but more so I did FINALLY get offered a position of employment! :D It's only been over a year of job hunting and everyone saying no or simply never calling back. One company said I even failed their "personality test" which I guess means that I am unfit for social human contact ;_; Ahh well, it was only Staples.
Aaaaaanywho, I got a job at my local iParty store which, for those of you who don't know, is pretty much a store chain in the New England area that specializes in....well....party stuff. I'm not talking about college frat parties, just more like anything you would need for the holidays, birthdays, graduations, etc. I have no idea -yet- what my starting pay per hour is but honestly I will take anything at this point. Hopefully since I have some retail experience already, it won't be too bad. My first ever job at Circuit City was $8.50/hr then my 2nd job was much less at only $8.00/hr at BJ's Wholesale club. By the way, I would not recommend working there as a cashier. Lousy pay, horrible hours, and standing on a solid concrete floor is just murder.
Oh yah, we are expecting a hurricane to hit land where I live this Friday. That should be fun! *Huddles around my flashlights and canned foods* Hopefully I will start making enough money to buy some stuff that I need/want. I got a whole list of stuff that I've been waiting forever to get but wasn't able to due to lack of not having a job for my ass.
Just a list of stuff on my "to-buy" menu:
(Not in any specific order and obviously some are long-term investments)
1. Droid X
2. New pants
3. Repay
sarmanikan for APB
4. Computer hardware upgrade
5. College
6. Car
7. Ninja 605R
8. Insurance
9. A special gift for a certain someone
10. FC
11. A character sheet commission
12. Fursuit :D
13. Gas
14. various game subscriptions
15. many many many bills.
16. Computer chair w/ wheels (Currently using a wooden dining chair D: )

You don't want to work for Staples. Trust me. I know this from someone who already works there.
