I think that I have probably posted like four journals announcing my engagement throughout the time that I've been on FA. HOWEVER. Now is the time when we ignore them all and focus on this one. Because unlike the other times, this one involves a ring that involves an actual diamond.
Thaaats right. My months of saving up have finally given me JUST ENOUGH CASH to pay for that ring we had been looking at. I officially proposed to her a couple months ago, actually the day before we got our apartment. The money that i was going to use to pay for her ring went into paying for the apartment instead and so we had to backtrack.
NOW HOWEVER we've finally gotten the ring so the engagement is finally super official. Like...gonna tell her parents and my parents soon kind of official. Like...we even changed our facebook status kind of official. XD
Getting married is another story entirely. But we'll talk about that bridge when we get closer to it in a year or so. -shrug- At this time there's not much we can do.
But. Just thought i'd tell everyone since...like...i'm kinda really excited. n___n This is a super warm and fuzzy feeling, people. And I've never been happier at any time in my life than I have been these last two months. She's a real joy, and the last two years being with her have been something beyond special.
We finally get to spend Christmas together this year for the first time since our relationship started. I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to think of our little apartment with a Christmas tree in it.
