1: probably because as a gamer, I feel most comfy with universes that appeal to me; then I can deal with the vastest of rule sets (like AD&D2nd). sometimes, when inspiration strikes, there is also a tiny bit of background story and universe the image takes place in, and I guess this is what caught your eye... :)
