Birthday time- It sucks being 18
Good thing I'm 28. :3
Seriously though, the late teens/early 20's were the most angst-ridden time in my life. But now I feel increasingly happy and balanced as I finally settle into adulthood. By 38, I should be completely happy, and by 48, I should be at the zenith of peace and contentment. I don't know if my body will be able to handle the immense cheerfulness that will dominate my retirement years.
For all you youngsters, know that life improves after university years. That is my birthday wish for you all.

And thank you! That was an inspirational thing to read with my 20th birthday only a few weeks away. @-@
Thank you for the birthday wish 83, And happy birthday! 83 .... I am so making you a card later 83 y'know, if you don't think that'd be kind of weird...
And I guess that is some encouragement.
yeah, it's true you leave some unnecessary hangups with you as you age, which is nice, but of course there's also things about bein' young that we'll miss too, which make youth so magical. Hope you have a great time!
But seriously, happy birthday!
Becoming an adult means realizing teenage angst was naive and becoming old means realizing why these expectations are impossible for meet.
I'm a big fan of the angsty intensity of my age though, it makes everything interesting.
28 is a good age to be.
