There's a difference between drawing someting in a particular style, and paying for someone to do the equivalent of a digital colouring book.

It drives me nuts. There's a difference between seeing your creation in an artist's style and plastering colors and a few minor body tweeks into a well established formula.

I completely agree with you on that; I especially find it funny when the person says they use a templateand it costs extra to change it from that shape.

That being said, I'm pretty much screwed if I ever wanted to use my character in such a "template" form. :P
