Seeing as this is my writing journal, subsequent journals will more than likely be about... the stories posted. heh
First one posted is Changing Times: A Vampire's Tale.
Changing Times is a diary format about a woman who was embraced just as she was beginning to climb that long ladder into country and pop stardom. Through her life, she witnessed the war predicted by the Mayans and talked about in Revelations. It was not what she, or anyone expected. After the destruction ended, the world took a very harsh and long change where the survivors were placed into a deep sleep while things were handled by the powers that be. What she awoke to was a whole new world; Earth given a new chance and humans gone or at the very least, changed into furries. Life becomes rather difficult from there and adventures arise when she is called upon to help.
Changing Times is on its third draft.
Ideas for new entries and critiques are welcome. I suggest downloading it to read instead of reading it from the submission page.
Way of the Comet is the next, comprising of nine complete, if rough, chapters submitted individually for ease in editing. This was to be my first published novel but the muse decided to not be very cooperative. I work on it whenever I find it and start reading it.
This story was started loooong ago, when I was still in high school and has been added to ever since. It did have a very different and more gritting beginning which I had lost in a hard drive crash on my first computer. This beginning seems sue-ish to me now and rather cliche, but who knows, it could work if geared toward a younger audience.
This one is about a teen-aged girl who is found by a mythical beast known as a winged unicorn. This unicorn takes her to a place where the heroine is needed and ends up discovering parts of her heritage through other characters. She is on a tight time schedule, both to keep from being missed by her father and because of the coming of a rare comet. (Idea for the comet came from some research of comets and how often some make their rounds in our solar system) Like I said, the story gets sue-ish and cliche.
This story is in its second draft per chapter. Chapter 10 is partially written right now. Critiques are always welcome in all these chapters. The more specific besides "it sucks" the better future edits will be.
Well, that's the basic rundown of the first two stories posted to this account. Future tales coming are Rising Noble (furry porn covering various aspects of sex) R-rated, definitely. MoonRose Memories (ElfQuest Fanfic) PG-rated. Healing Time (Champions fic non-furry) PG possibly M-rated.
