9/11 - Your voices
Today's that day where we're reminded of exactly what this group is about. Tolerance vs. Intolerance.
But I don't think I need to explain anything since we've been over this topic for the past 9 years. So instead, I'm just simply going to ask you.
What are your opinions. On anything of this day. About the terrorists, about Islam, about how anything has or had been handled. I just, in general, want to know what you all feel about this fateful day that shook the nation 9 years ago.

Goverment planned set up. Kosovo, Afgan, Iraq, Vietnam - all on the same script: 1)boom! 2)"it's terorists!" 3) Reverenge, money. 4) ellection support. The end.
It's not USA fault either in this conflict. USA is milions of people, who knows life cost is higher, than some shitty oil.
So.... it's only fault of few men ontop of country.
Peace, folks.
Damn Capitalism!
Just i'm choosing hard way for the truth, even if whole FurrA will hate me for that.
If you contact me in private i will debrief you.
I know most of you think we're know nothing but papernews about U.S. So as some of us do about R.F....
And i know internal jobs not from some yellowpage, i knew this script too dang well, because chechen conflict was built on the same way:
1) Massive terract (target of which by the way was on some important people (who knew something bad, about Putin and his group)),
2) Then "peacemaker" mission to "sugested enemy basement" (and for real - to place, where was goverment interests)
3) In whole mess it was easy way to stick "I'm fighting people, who killed your relationships" in re-election days.
And for the end, if you dissapointed, that i'm not a zombie of "mass" knowledge you can go. But calling me "russian" instead of "bro" or even "dude" is sounds abit rassist. Like calling mama "hey, woman!"
Russia has a rich culture, and history. Nothing wrong with that.
Calling you a Russian isn't racist. Russian is a nationality, not an ethnicity.
Russian Furries, call me "American, or Cowboy". I do not take offense. Neither should you.
I've worked with Russians, and I've fought along Russian National's. I have no qualms with Russians.
Either way. contact me on messenger.
Sincerely, The American.
But again calling friend with a race - it is a bit offensive. Even if you didn't meant nothing like it, it still does.
I mean yeh, we calling our gurls "heyya, bitch!" sometimes, like on the playful note. But in some "usual" disscussion it'll be sound rude.
About messenger... no. You have your point, i'm not trying to make you think another way. So neither you try, f-rend.
I don't believe in any religion but i tolerate and support one's choice and right to practice any religion with the acceptation of people being harmed by the practices. whoever the acts of the terrorists on 9/11 had nothing to do with the beliefs of Islam and there were Muslim victims in the 9/11 attacks who died!
The idea that people get by judging the acts of one person who might happen to be in the same group of another who might have done something bad is what us as furries especially should learn NOT TO DO!
Just cause someone who happens to be Muslim and does something bad in the name of god does not mean all Muslims are like that, the same as just case one furry goes on national tv and makes a foll of them self and says something that we all don't agree on when they represent our community doesnt mean we are all bad either!
I have learned alot about Islam the last few years and i will tell you it's people and it's followers are some of the kindest and least violent people i have ever met, just cause they are nice doesnt mean some of them arent but i wouldnt judge a group of people by the actions of one person in their group!
For anyone reading this, please show respect to Islam and your fellow man, dont burn a Quran today! (For all thoes thinking of this as being national burn a quran day)
This is a day for remembrance not a day to show revenge on a meaningless cause my showing disrespect to a large percentage of the world and giving this world one more big reason to hate America even more!!
I know this is very controversial but just listen and consider what i have to say
"Our enemies here are not our friends of Islam. Our enemies here are those that perverted their religion, those men that are traitors to the religion and waved the banner of their religion falsely to justify their actions."
And I believe that to a tee. The attacks of our country from the past had a positive effect from a negative experience, for a little. Then right after that, all America did was open up a whole new can of worms of hatred. It was ironic to me. It brought the nation close together for a few months, then, we started to combat each other once again as we started finger pointing and nonsense. How, we were supposed to be united as a nation, a nation who was built to be free, as a large melding pot. But instead, the actions of a few, brought forth racism and religious intolerance to whole new levels, and it was riduculous.
There was a story of a woman, who's son went into the North tower 9 years ago the day it was attacked. He went in to try to rescue some people. He was a Muslim man. After that day, he was never seen again. She feared the worst, his mother did. But...people around her, people would send her hate mail calling her a terrorist and her son, a coward, for they felt that he did not go in to rescue, but instead, he went into hiding. Until a year or two after the incident, they found his body. He was no terrorist nor hero, he was a Muslim, and a hero.
I don't think people understand that...why is it that the actions of a few, poisoned the mind of so many, to cause the innocents to be alienated. And that to me, is horrendously sad. The only voices that are heard these days are those of the extremists. The ones that wish to help and do good, sadly, go unheard, but when you hear people that wish to start burning Quarans, people who would set fire to Mosques, people that would simply label a human as a terrorist because of the deity they believe in or color of their skin, in the end, those are the voices that are heard.
We are a world full of problems, and it's saddening to me that I see finger pointing, hatred, and death, instead of this world uniting to help each other and gain strength through resources. Until we stop worrying about war and hating each other, then maybe this world would actually start getting on its feet and we can start moving on to the future instead of being stuck in the past. That's my voice.
If you dislike it, then work to be the next one in charge of things.(it's very effective) Try to improve the world and not grovel and bark. (moaning and not doing anything is not very effective.)
Making any efforts i do, whether in the military, or Law enforcement make it absolutely moot since the majority of the population doesnt want to be helped or sees me/who i work for as the bad guys.
I just see hating the over all because they believe something as kind of ignoring their perspective, maybe they are right? Maybe they are wrong? It is perspective that lead them to their conclusions.
The way the building fell was also exactly the same as one that did in a controlled collision.
If you wish to rant about such things look at Christianity, it was not to long ago, women were treated as property, becuase of ideals of the religion. When they went to "take back the holy land" any city they went though suffered, and at one point they sent children to try to fight, most of them (the ones who went the right way) ended up being put into slavery.
Religions have their flaws and flashes of stupidity. To bunch all people up in one category would be foolish and insulting to not just that religion but your own, and the nation you come from, or at the very least yourself.
What you state is not even the extremist of the religion, it is a religion of it's own, created by a group who were power hungry, and upheld by those who grew up to it. Islam is not the religion that is that, it is only the flag such power hungry people wave. Just as such things were done waving the flags of other religions or nations of the past.
I have hope. And our biggest weapons are hope and being nice people.
It'll be a mercy killing.
That is all.
Even the Japanese agree that, it would have been far worse if the American's had not dropped the first nuke. (many, including myself believe the second was over doing it though, perhaps it was needed yet rumors have stated that the Japanese were planning to surrender after seeing such a attack, perhaps the second would not have been fired if they had waited a day more.)
What method would you have used in such a situation? Holding the fear of either being destoryed or destroying a entire nation if you sent in your troops?
Anyway, I guess this isn't the place for religious debate. We are preaching tolerance after all.
If were were to all become atheist, then we might end up as two different atheist groups fighting to prove which is the proper way to be atheist at one point.
Humans will fight, just try to learn from it, instead of throwing blame.
To quote the nobel prize winning theoretical psyicist: "Without religion you would have good people doing good things, and bad people doing bad things. But for good people to do bad things, it takes religion."
regardless, I mostly mean, perhaps your right, yet in history people will always throw a flag over their actions. Religion is just the most advertised.
Regardless, I am happy with the diversity of ideals and cultures. It gives a "flavor" and who is to say who is right and who is wrong in such things as religions? All could be right, and all could be wrong, or we in fact and the power fulling the power of the divinity even.
Though I have recently grown to be annoyed of some christian groups. (expectantly Catholics, who have been yelling "devil worshiper" at a Wiccan I am friends with, those bibles are not fun to be hit with.) I just see that ignorance and human's instinctive dislike of things it is unable to understand/cope with/adapt to/accept. If Atheism does become more organized it will become just like the religions many of Atheism look down on, another flag fanatics will wave.
albeit I will say.... seeing Vegas and Henderson hosting their "first annual pacific Islander heritage" days today kind of made me do a double take.... I'd think they could pick a better weekend for their festivities.... but cest cie la vie.
Personally... I did nothing different today then I would any Saturday.... namely I lead the forces of disease and death against the vile and traitorous imperium (read: Played warhammer 40K {Although.... now that I look back.... I blew up two towers today >.< they were part of a fortification.... *laughs a little* maybe I should have taken the other two out just to make it not so familiar?})
Main army is the Nurgle "Death Guard" army... it's designed as the more fluff based death guards (no fast attacks... a lot of tank killers and siege busters.)
My chaos is literally an unassembled metal daemon prince. My plans are for a main force of Khorne and Tzeentch, with a dp of Khorne AND Tzeentch leading them, named Bloodcaster. The dp used to be a traitor librarian, and his goal is to become a god of chaos by hybridising the daemons of the 4 powers together. He ascended to daemonhood when he successfully merged a Bloodthirster & a Lord of Change together into one.
I'm also going to do an auxiliary Slaaneshi force, led by a character I'm designing called The Seducer (haven't come up with a name beyond that title yet). He's got a pet dp, lashed to his will by Slaanesh itself, who told him the dp's real name, hence allowing him complete control. He follows Bloodcaster for entertainment more than anything else, amused by the dp's efforts to achieve godhood.
So yeah, I come up with a lot of fluff for my armies XD
If they are fine with it, why the hell are there all these people who had nothing lost to the event complaining about it?
it was only 2 buildings here. yes, many people died, but it's been maybe 9-10 years and I think they just started rebuilding now. people all over the country like to latch on to the whole 9/11 wahwah train because it's the only thing we have to bitch about anymore. I think those who have people who died during the event can grieve and stuff, but the whole country needs to get over it and move on.
again, we've done much worse to other places.
2 million Iraqis (including 1.5 million civilians) died and governments around the world went on a big campaign to scare the shit and liberty out of the rest of the world because Suidi Arabia funded terrorists from Pakistan killed 4000 people.
It's pretty pathetic when you think about it. I have to use a proxy to prevent my government saving my internet activity, can be stopped and searched in the street at any time for no reason and when I go to an airport I have to be blasted with xrays and pictures of my penis posted to a database.
If the ridiculousness of humanity isn't something to lol at then what is?
I don't think so.
Millions and millions of poeple died in WW2. 6 Million Jews were killed by the Nazis. Families were destroyed. Homes were destroyed. Europe itself was a giant graveyard. And even if I wish i could say that it weren't all Germans, that were guilty of this tragedy... they were. There certainly was a group of idealists and there was a resistance, but these people were viciously outnumbered. And those of them who were not killed either kept their face shut or fled.
And now see the facts: 9/11. Assuming that radical muslim terrorists conducted this as a suicide mission, there were about 20 men who hijacked the planes and highliy estimated a hundred other islamists who were in any way involved in the plan. 2000 people were killed. 18000 could escape. Who talks about those, who survived? This is a miracle! It could have been 20000 people dead, maybe more if the fourth plane had hit its aim aswell. No, its a catastrophy. And now take a look at the religion. I don't know how many, but again millions of people call themselves muslims. You hear that? M-I-L-L-I-O-N-S! If all of them were terrorists, do you seriously think there'd be a bug alive in New York City? All this was the fault of a handfull of idiots. And it's not even sure it were islamists.
So, why not just bomb Germany for WW2? With x-thousand times the power?
Comparing the situations I MUST be a totally dangerous nazi.
Plus:
9/11/1814 the colonists won two important battles against the British in the war for independence.
9/11/1944 the first US troops crossed the German border in WW2.
Maybe it's just a strange coincidence...
But coincidently the inverse is rarely true. =\
Just as some well-known examples, 'cause of course there are more:
We had the "RAF" in Germany, the IRA in Ireland or Timothy McVeigh in the USA.
These are all terrorists, and none of them is of Arab heritage or Muslim belief.
The thing is, since 9/11 happened, you hear of Islamist Idiots who blow up themselves and so on almost every week.Planes are shot down, just because they cannot identify themelves if asked (like in Singapore). What most of us don't understand, is: You do NOT need a plane to cause huge damage. If someone wanted to commit a terroristic act, he would hardly try and get a plane. This happened once and will probably never happen again; if this terrorist is smart enough to hijack a plane, he'll be clever enough to think of other, more "efficient" ways to kill people. Most probably he'd just take a car.
It's become a bias really hard to extinguish, that only Muslims were capable of horrible crimes like these. I admit, if I think of Terrorists, the first thing I have in mind is an Arab with a bomb around his body. How should I be neutral, if regularly & subconsciously influenced by messages like "Al Quaida has...", "Taliban have....", "Iran...bad, bad, bad...".
But I am convinced, that Muslims are just humans like you and me, that Islam is a religion just like Christianity and Judaism, Buddhism and Hinduism, Bahaism and Sikhism and all the others and both the religion and the people are not in the least more dangerous than anyone else.
Maybe I'd feel the same, if me and my cobelievers were fought and banished everywhere and allways since my prophet for the first time preached the words of my god. If I was labeled a subhuman just for my belief. All this by Christians, by "the West". If my people was suppressed out the Holy Land, just because Christians of the West decided, it'd be better, if Jews lived there.
But more probably, like good Muslims do, I'd just live my life peacefully.
But so was 9-11. :^)
