Goodbye lil' doggie.

At 4am this morning we got a call from the vet clinic that she didn't make it.
Whatever it was that caused the liver issues made her liver values spike and put her in shock.
Just spent the last hour and a half comforting my mom.
She took care of her every day; day in, day out for 7 years... So she's got it pretty bad.
I wanted to rant about the medical animal care here in this shitty country as this was our second dog that went into shock the day we left her in the clinic. Our previous dog had a similar story.
'she went into shock, there's nothing we could do'
Too tired to rant from keeping up appearances.
Be back later. Having a breakdown.
Edit: Got off the phone with the vet who treated her.
She said they did everything possible, from extra IV to get her blood pressure back up to heart massage and an adrenaline shot. Nothing helped.

All I can do is believe their word and assume they did all they could.
I'm always looking around from the slightest familiar thing I hear, thinking it's her.
No matter how good or pleasant the memories, it hurts a lot.
I'm so sorry hun! I don't know what to say >:
It's like losing a part of the family. The worst part is the sudden silence here in the house.
No more barks, no more hearing her skitter and walk around, no more barking for attention or when she wants to go play.
It's just so cold and silent in here.

Especially since she could've lived another 6 and died from old age. :C
Our dog.. the one I really grew up with had been misdiagnosed.. So when we got what would help him.. it was too late. We never went to that vet again.
She's been sick for months, but our regular vet just gave a generic injection and meds to get her strength back to normal, without really knowing what was wrong.
By the time she told us to go to a specialized clinic, the infection must've become too severe. :C
