After Halo 3 i lost all my faith in Halo...

I'm a Gears head now, bring on Gears of War 3, that will own.

As a Halo player, I admit 3 was the most horrid piece of over-hyped dirt that I have played, followed closely by ODST.
But honestly, my roommate shelled out from the Legendary version, and whilst calling him a maniac, it is very Halo 1 reminescent, and was actually enjoyable to play through. Me and him are halfway through with Legendary, after going through Easy and Normal on the same night. Hunters are tougher than the easy-as-pie stuff they were in 3 and ODST, which made me happy.

I do. But odd hours and all that with the pond between us... And moi being busy.

And this is the reason I find friends to play its co-op mode with, not joining random multiplayer games. And as I said above, I I'm just looking for people to play with and would rather people not comment if they're not interested. :/ I dont want this to dissolve into haters vs fanboys.

I usually just stick to party chat. That way, you only hear friends on Xbox Live, and not the random people on game chat.

I believe the Halo series brought nothing new or innovative to the FPS table except frothing fanboys.

While I actually agree with you to an extent (Halo is a fun game to me, nothing amazing or innovative and dosen't deserve the fanboyism it gets), I did state that I'm just looking for people to play with and would rather people not comment if they're not interested. :/ I dont want this to dissolve into haters vs fanboys.

I just beat it earlier. I gotta say it was the most fun a Halo game has been since the first one.

Hah. I got Halo: Reach on launch night too. Haven't finished campaign yet, so no spoilers. (Though, with the previews and such always saying "The fall of Reach" and "One Spartan shall be the savior of man" or whatever.. Makes me think Noble 6 will use a doomsday weapon to blow up Reach, and the resulting planetary destruction will reduce most, if not all, of the covenant's fleet. But that's just my exaggerated guess. Most likely I'll be wrong though.)
