Actually it's the contrary, it makes bisexuals sound like prudes.
As he states, bisexual is defined by the atraction to male and female by gender spesifics. The means -in one way- that bisexuality excludes for example transgenders, shemales, and other non-stereotypical men, gays, women and lesbians.

While pansexuality opens for "a blind eye" to any aestetics in shape dongs and vay-jay-jays or a fusion of the two more commom sexes. And as the kid in the video explains the philos and sexual atraction usualy comes down to personal values independent of sex and gender.
However at the same time pansexuality as a defenition opens for a sort of "pick 'n choose" situation, which by nature makes pansexuality an umbrella expression for the unsure who don't know what the fuck they're into, and usually just goes with the flow. While real pansexuals actualy exists, they are usually hipsters and such that fall into one of the following groups:

By the pansexuals I know of, it's either people that A) "Widens their horizon" because they usualy take whatever they can get by (because of hmmmh "personal aestetic handicaps" (they're ugly as sin)) or B) People with the "I feel better than you because I am somewhat less prejudical and openminded (or some shit like that) than you and therefore I need a better term to not be grouped with the lots of you - you bisexual!" syndrome. Or the rare C) The "I have a kink for [unusual gender, sex, etc] but that's too embarrasing to say so I'll go to the extent of calling myself pansexual to avoid awquardnes" type. Orrrr D) "Noone understands my complicated (fucked up) sexual feelings, so I'll call myself pansexual *sob sob sob*" and lo' and behold, still noone understands you! Not even the other pansexuals!

I myself, am pleased to call myself bisexual but homophile :3
