Commission Dilemma

I want to do some commissions soon, I really do. My bank account is dwindling due to college related expenses, I can't get a job, and I'm just feeling frustrated tonight I can't do some things I want due to being broke.
However, I have certain things I owe to begin with. I'm also really afraid of overwhelming myself with this in combination with college. I don't want to hurt my grades by taking them. (if masses of people end up wanting something anyway, but I doubt it would be that crazy as I don't think I'm that good.)
I also have had some people contact me in the past about them, but I lost my list.
I was considering just taking strictly $10 character sketch commissions for now. Any ideas? Or interest?

I'm going to finish outstanding work for now I think, then I'll offer some character sketches - with possible coloring later on for those who desire.
I've been in this boat for a year now, so I'll definitely help out. Any chance I can get a slot?
