Rant about PS
I can't believe that photoshop cs5 doesn't have autosave feature. Just lost about 5 hours of work. With my skills everything I do with PS takes ages. I had just finished inking a new ratonga pic, when something froze up, and at the same moment I realize that I hadn't saved the pic today. Not even once. O_O So, you may thank Adobe for causing major delay with that pic. I'm too used to having autosave in 3ds max, so I don't remember to save manually. :(
Well, after all, the program just costs hundreds of euros. I suppose they can't include everything for such a low price...
Sorry for totally stupid rant, But like Duke would say: "This really pisses me off" >_<

*reverts to a save I just did*
FFFFUUUUU
Consider, for instance, what happens when Photoshop crashes while in the middle of saving over the old file? The old file is gone. And the new file is corrupt. So the whole project is lost.
There can also be issues like... you didn't realize you accidentally flattened some layers a while back. Or otherwise screwed up the file yourself in ways which are hard to reverse. Sometimes I've ended up needing to transplant layers from before I broke something from an older version of the file to the current version of the file. That's save my haunches a few times.
I miss that in photoshop.
Maybe you can activate the autosave option someplace in the settings?
