FIRST JOURNAL:
"Update: After visiting Laz in the hospital, it turns out she doesn't have acute appendicitis (yet), instead her appendix is overly large, to the point where if she didn't have it removed this week, it would end up being acute appendicitis. Along with an overly large appendix, she also has a tumor growing either on it or inside of it. Hopefully it is benign and she will not have to deal with anything else after it is removed.
She is scheduled to go into surgery before noon tomorrow, so this means she is spending the rest of the day in the hospital, and if all goes well (meaning they only have to make two small incisions and do not have to cut her completely open to get the appendix out), she should be home in the next 2-3 days.
I have passed along to her that people are keeping her in their thoughts and that they all wish her well. I'm supposed to be going back up there tomorrow to see her after surgery, so I'll let you folks know how she did and if everything went smoothly.
Hey everyone, this is ~dragontrap making a post for Laz, who is currently in the hospital for an acute appendicitis. She doesn't want to worry you all, but I asked her if she wanted me to make an announcement for her so that everyone is in the know about what's going on, where she currently is, and why she is not working on commissions currently.
She hasn't gone into surgery as of yet, but we (as in myself and the other roommates) were told she is scheduled for 4 pm this afternoon, and I'm sure they are going to at least keep her overnight afterward to make sure there are not complications.
It might be a few days before she'll be able to be back up and about, but I'll try to keep everyone informed as soon as I hear anything further. Keep her in your thoughts, and send good thoughts her way so that she has an uneventful surgery and a quick recovery.

So I didn't feel up to talking about this on the day I got back from the hospital, but I'm ready to say something about it now I think...
As a lot of you know, I have been really sick on and off over the last year, deteriorating with every week, I was in the hospital constantly. This has affected my commissions, work, life, and just about everything in between.
A few months ago, I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, something pretty rare for someone my age, it is extremely painful, and hard to explain to people who have never experienced it. It's like having a cluster headache for a week at a time, but with the addition of a severe toothache in every tooth, loss of vision, and being punched in the nose. It's a problem where the trigeminal nerve, the nerve controlling all pain receptors in one side of the face and head, thinks that everything is in pain, and it sends these pain signals to the brain. It is doing this because the outer casing of the nerve has been cracked. Now, this was an odd occurrence, and no one could explain why I had it.
Soon, I started having uncontrollable pain in my right side. To me, it was nothing, since the neuralgia has taught me the meaning of true pain. But one day, I wasn't able to move from the pain, and it was time for the hospital again :C
In the hospital, they usually shun me due to my lack of insurance, but this time, they became very concerned and started doing many tests. After 10 hours in the waiting room, and another 15 hours of sitting in the ER, they realized I had appendicitis. But this wasn't ordinary, since my appendix was 6 times the size of a normal appendix. They said I needed emergency surgery, but that I needed to be put on the waiting list. (no insurance, no easy treatment)
A few hours later, I was carted off to the hospital (away from the ER) and given a room. I wasn't allowed to eat for 4 days. The surgery kept being put off, and each time they would drug me with morphine (which I seem to have a painful reaction to). The good news was that I got to watch the discovery channel, at least there was tv XD
Finally, it was time for surgery. They had a bit of a hard time getting me to go under anesthesia. They told me to imagine a beach and going to the ocean, and they described all kinds of fun things to do at the beach until I was finally out. They told me I wouldn't dream, yet I had one O.o;
I had a dream where I was running towards the ocean over some beautiful sand dunes. I finally made it over the crest of the last sand dune, and BAM!!! I ran right into a cactus >8U .... It sucked, but at least I woke up, cactus pain still there though :C
The funny part was that I woke up in the surgery room, scaring the hell out of my nurse. I asked for a cup of water, but she ignored me. I asked again, and she asked the surgeon if I was talking in my sleep :\ I was like ;^; anyway, the Surgeon was like woa, she IS awake, uhh, give her some water drr.
Got my water and waited for him to come back and tell me the results. He said I had a really big tumor that was causing my appendix to burst. (it didn't burst before it was out thank god). But he said it looked like it was Cancerous.
It took some recovery, since he had to make all the incisions much larger than normal in order to accommodate for the size of the tumor. When the test came back, it was cancerous. In technical terms he said: "It was technically benign, yet it was Malignant."
This both confused and frightened me, since I just lost my dad...
It was Cancerous, but it wasn't able to spread anywhere yet. That was the best description I have gotten so far. But he needs me to go for further testing to check for other tumors :C
I'm feeling pretty down about all of this. It turns out that this may have had a lot to do with most of my health problems, and this includes the possibility of a brain tumor that caused the neuralgia.
Looks like it is going to be a wait and see sort of thing .__. Either way, it's frightening..."
Sorry this was not posted here on FA, things have been really difficult since the Surgery, and I haven't gotten to be home and work on or do anything. I'm up at my mom's house recovering before my next proceedure since they still haven't been able to get rid of my internal infections. To my commissioners, I am really sincerely sorry. My sickness over the last year has really screwed everything up .__.
But please, please don't threaten me for being late on your commission. I am really doing the best I can under the circumstances. Most of you all have been complete angels, and I REALLY appreciate it. Please have some patience with me.
With that said, anyone else trying to contact me, as I said in my last journal, PLEASE CHECK MY DEVIANTART ACCOUNTS. Naphiro and Lazeros
