Dumping thumbnails
Time to get rid of that pesky meme...
XD
Yeah...I've been wondering as to little ways I can get a bit more activity around my submissions...my first thought is to go through and get rid of the thumbnails. I still don't know why I started using them - but anyway, when I look at my gallery, all I see are a bunch of ill-defined little boxes, and it occurs to me that some unfortunate new face, when presented with it, likely doesn't feel the urge to open alllllll of them just to see what they hold, and thus they simply continue on their way. So I'm going to be going through and getting rid of them all, if I can...hopefully it will make my gallery easier to skim through quickly, and perhaps provide folks with more to catch their eye.
Also...thinking of trying color again - here I have this nice tablet that was so graciously given to me, and I'm frankly afraid to touch the thing. I've become quite spoiled by my less-than-an-hour completion times, and recalling how a lot of my old colored pieces were in the 10+ HOURS range, I'm completely balking at that idea. Perhaps I need to read more tutorials and try to shave that time down a little.
So...what do ya think - should I give it a go? Will it be worth it to have "nicer" pics every week or two, instead of tons of quick sketches?
Edit: Okaaaaaay...it seems that you cannot get rid of the thumbnail - even trying to do so just messes stuff up.
YAY!!

I've flat coloured stuff in like 20 minutes. >_>

<<"
Of course, I'd ink the pic using the line tool first, though...

But yeah, just the strictly coloring part usually runs me a few hours...I'm just naturally slow.
