Ever been to Comet Cafe?

Can't say I've ever heard of that place, sir.

Best: rueben, cupcakes, and (almost) espresso in my experience. I can recommend a few other places.

If it still exists: Fuel Cafe down near the lake, by the University. They had a toasty jalapeno and jack cheese sandwich... I miss that.

Milwaukee is a nice town, but Madison and Green Bay have more going on.

Are you in the area? I think there's a con going on this weekend in Milwaukee...

I would love to go if I had time. I'm leaving for the East Coast on Friday and I've been very busy in the meantime.

Why specifically do you say that there is more going on on those cities?

Green Bay has the Packers, of course. And the lovely paper mills. :) And a pretty good museum. (My mom was manager of distribution for the Green Bay post office, so I got to see the city a couple of times.)

Madison is a college town so has all the usual stuff a college town has to offer (it was a hotbed of radicalism back in the 60s).

Milwaukee, of course, has all the breweries...

I've visited the city every summer since it was expanded, but I still enjoy seeing the Milwaukee Art Museum.

only thing in Milwaukee is Patowatomi

and the most awesome cupcake I've ever had, as well as the first treatment plant to make milorganite, and the midwest city to be making the fastest comeback.
