My Xbox 360 just died this morning! Red ring of death (or perhaps Red Rose of Death... <w<) and everything! That means I can't play games with my friends right now! This is wicked sweet! -_-'
So, on a serious notion, does anybody know if the new 360 Slims are compatible with the old hard-drives? If so, I may end up purchasing one of those once I get the money. If not, I'd really not want to lose absolutely all of my data excluding my gamerscore. >w<

XBL: Coyote Macen, for future reference. (original, ain't it)
First off, find someone nearby with an original XBOX 360 that works.
Second: Have a thumbdrive (SanDisk or one for XBOX 360)
Third: Attach both the console.
Fourth: See if there is a way to transfer the memory from one to the other.
After that, I suggest calling Microsoft XBOX help line for suggestions
