Yeah, I know ya’ll are all wondering why I’m still here after all the drama. Well, I’ll tell ya’ll. I asked DoH if I could make one last post. And my last post will be about Breast Cancer Awareness Month.


As some of ya’ll already know, my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer when I was 6. She’s had it 3 times since then in different waves and it’s basically put my family on a roller coaster. When cancer strikes, it can really mess with people heads. It actually even was a cause as to why my parents got a divorce. It’s a very scary thought too since about 85% of my immediate family has some form of cancer. That’s where it can mess with your brain. It can cause you to wonder if you’ll get it and if anymore of your family will get it.

That’s where God and faith can come into play. Not only can it put a strain on relationships and stuff in the real world, it can play with your faith just as much. Just think of the cancer being the devil. He wants you to lose your faith in God as much as possible and he wants to win. Luckily, my mom kept her faith and beat the cancer all 3 times. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case. Thousands of people die each month due to cancer. And that’s why more and more people need to be aware of it. Not just breast cancer but all forms.

Here is a video I made for my Senior year Photography class. It’s on Breast Cancer and I tried to make it as touching as possible. For this month I’m going to be wearing my breast cancer bracelet every single day. I’ve donated the last of my money ($20) to the Susan G. Komen foundation for a Cure. And for the future, I plan on saving up for a fursuit that will be a breast cancer awareness one. It may take a while but I WILL get one.

So for all you furries out there, show some support this month. Be it joining a cancer group, donating money, or just wearing a cancer bracelet to show you care. You don’t have to donate thousands of dollars to make a difference! All you need to do is just show some support whether it be verbally or physically.
