I won my first Laser Tag 30-minute match tonight!

I finally achieved first in an Ironman game tonight! I earned a free game next week. WOO!
I actually was so excited, I forgot to write down the scores. I only remember the top three out of fifteen.

There was only one real effective technique I remember during this game:
NOTABLE MOMENT
Vaperfox (Rank 1) versus a crew of four sniper guys
There was a group of four guys that decided to stay together the whole game. They constantly went to sniper positions in one of the three towers in the arena, so naturally, I followed them in there. Since they were acting as a team and wouldn’t shoot each other, my mindset was: there’s four of them and only one of me, so I can score four times as more as any of them. Also, I realized they started to focus fire on me and forgot to shoot anyone else around their sniper position, so they lost valuable time they could’ve used to get points.
This is what I heard after I shot them many, many times:
“VAPERFOX! WHERE’S VAPERFOX?!”
I never thought it would be so fun to hear my name shouted so many times. It was like one of those moments in the game Metal Gear Solid where the main character Snake harasses guards to the point where they start to actively search for him.
I simply walked, not ran, into their tower and shot each of them in turn. They would tag me every now and then, but I would usually get two before they got me, thus keeping up my score while putting the pressure on them to stay (and continue getting shot) or leave. They left. And I did this to them in every one of the three towers. They eventually left each one in turn. I wouldn’t focus on them all the time and I would look for other players on the main floor of the maze, but I always seemed to find their next hiding spots.
The last part of the game was the best. They held up in the tower furthest from the entrance to the arena and I stood underneath, firing up at them through the grating. I got so many hits off of them and it took them almost two minutes to look down.
“Do you hear that?” they asked, possibly referencing the sound of my laser.
Note for future games
When I walked into the laser tag center, I saw that the employees were all wearing costumes. The girl in charge wore a white angel outfit while the guy at the front wore a Green Lantern suit. The girl who was one of the marshals(referees inside the arena) wore a native American squaw dress/tunic. I asked “Can we wear costumes at any time while playing?”
“Yeah, you can wear whatever you want,” the angel girl said.
I’m making my own fursuit just for this. Eventually, when my opponents are shot, they will see an actual Vaperfox :D
