No regret doth fill the broken soul,
Of a torn man without it all,
A deep pain, an emblazened sorrow,
Yet no regret will haunt tomorrow.
Life changed, so did i it appeared,
People turned, just as i had feared,
Pain followed, just as i'd thought,
Inevitable after the times i'd fought.
Intention were good, outcomes were poor,
Troubled minds distorted by more,
A friend or a foe, i will never know,
I fear this may be the time to go.
No time for me, i played my chance,
It seemed to look good at first glance,
But the tides do turn, the winds do change,
The world doth shift and the problems range.
So as this part ends, another begins,
Like the cleansings of your problems and sins,
One chapter ends, another succeeds,
On the book of life that everyone reads.
This may not be farewell forever maybe,
But most won't probably hear from me,
The pain is too great, the sorrow hard to swallow,
Off to my world where you shall not follow
For despite my efforts to be there for you all,
It wasn't enough, i was a fool,
I couldn't see the problems i made no matter what i did,
So i'll just go and let you peacefully live.
