New phone

Hadda get a new phone. (Sorry, I don't give the number out. Personally I hate telephones.)
Anyway...
it's a smartphone and called an Omnia II. It's about the same size as an I-phone. It's a Windows powered phone. Still exploring but I can do Youtube, Deviantard, so on and so forth. This should be entertaining, it should make lunch times go faster.
If I need it even has a navigation thing. I chose the Omnia because it has a 5 megapixel camera and it was free. YAY.

Until the day comes when they say "Sorry, your phone is too old. You are required to update to a Droid for $200 and then we have to charge you $30 a month more for required internet access."

A couple times I had to upgrade my phone. The first one was free (after rebate), the second upgrade cost me $20. I'm sure the next time I go into T-Mobile, they'll claim my perfectly-working phone is "obsolete" and I HAVE to purp put a couple Cs for a smartphone, or a 4G, or something while I say in protest. "All I do is make calls. I don't even friggin' text".

Nice thing is even if you have to upgrade they still have plenty of phone-phones. But insurance is a good option so they'll just replace it. I went with the smart phone because it was almost free. ($50) otherwise since I didn't have insurance for the one that was stolen even the most basic phone was $147. I been surfing Youtube on it. Plus there's a free widget that is a translator so I can now talk to the guys that do the cleaning where I work!

Kengi and I just had to get new phones too. I HATED giving up my RazrV3, but it was going wonky and his was worse. I opted for a Pantech Breeze II and he got an LG slide phone of some kind. We don't text or surf the net with our phones...they're phones and that's it. We only upgrade when our old ones start going out on us. For me it's getting harder and harder to find a phone I like though.

Yeah, they're a pain to get used to. This one is surprisingly easy, but I'm still getting used to figuring out how to bring up the numeric pad to dial.

I'm still getting used to the phone not automatically answering a call when I flip it open. I actually have to press a button to accept the call. XD
