Birthday whiffle...

This Friday marks my birthday. Now, I'm not usually the kind of person who just comes out and announces such things. It seems almost rude to me, like I'm demanding attention - "All hail the birthday weasel. Please arrange your gifts and messages alphabetically in neat stacks". It goes against my nature.
But, equally, friends want to send good wishes (heck, I know I feel crappy for missing a birthday), and if I don't tell anyone the day, how the hell are they to know? Its not some kind of test.
So, I'm sorry if I've ever missed your birthday. Sorry if you've ever missed MY birthday. But happy to have friends and a happy birthday to all. =O)
