You ever get so sick of the constant war that seems to be going on between dub lovers and sub lovers? Well, actually the rather one sided conflict that sub lovers just love to drag on and on, but I digress. There is NOTHING wrong with liking dubbed anime or subbed anime, as anime is a form of art and art is subjective. It gets so irritating when people try to say "Oh, Japanese anime is better because there's more emotion." How can you bloody TELL? It's Japanese. Sure there may be more YELLING, but that doesn't constitute more emotion. Subtlety is nice people... There are also the ones who claim it is simply better because it's "the original language" and it's closer to the creator's intention. Well, first of all, you obviously have no idea what animation entails, as there are no "original voices" and everything is pretty much dubbed over anyway. Second, truer to the creator's intent? Seriously? Take Miyazaki, considered Japan's answer to Disney. He has no issue with his films being dubbed. In fact, he encourages people to watch the English dubbed adaptations of his films, since subs would clutter up the otherwise beautiful scenery Studio Ghibli prides itself on. As for localization and changing dialogue... well, it wouldn't make SENSE if it were translated to the letter would it?
