Food for thought

Its 2 am in the morning, I'm overtired, and people, I have ALOT to rant about. I feel that just yelling things at my psychiatrist isn't getting anything done, so I figure I'll just rant online and see where this gets me.
Lets have a quick chat, America, lets have a chat about school. you hate it, I hate it, but why friends? Why we, the artsy, unique, creative people of America hate school? I'll tell you why its because we're different.
That's right, different.
We don't succumb to the regular fashions that all the rest of the mindless teenage drones out there seem to slap on everyday just to "fit in". Some a-holes in school sometimes ask "whats with the weird shoes, man" or "yo, those jeans went out of style last year, dude". Oh, I'm sorry, its just that I happen to LIKE these jeans and these shoes are quite comfy.
I don't FEEL like wearing white Nike's every god damn day. Their dull, bland and quite ugly. I mean, where is the pizazz, the individuality, where in those massive husks you call shoes, is the heart and soul?
When did looking like everybody else become cool? Last time I checked, we all have free will. We all have a choice in what we wear, but no, I'm just going to follow my friends and wear the same damn outfit every day that I can and so help me, I'm not going to change anything at all!
That felt good, America.
Thanks for listening

An Example that happened to me: Walking down the stairs to get to class, a girl starts saying my outfit looked hideous and not trendy (this was the day I bought a new polo, new slacks, and new shoes, my backpack was brand new like a pair of title boxing gloves, and my hair had just gotten trimmed and styles.) I snapped my head around and said "At least I didn't go to Victoria's Secret and drop $400 on a gold G-string. Here's the thing honey, the only D you'll get are D's in your classes. And that's also the only kind of F you'll get"
I've always said this: fashion is a way to show yourself.
