Even though 24 may not be a particularly "special number that lets you do anything you couldn't before," your birthday is ALWAYS worth celebrating. You only get one a year, and it's a day for everyone to be happy you exist. :D Hope you get some good things from your folks. :]

Good to hear about your HD replacement, too! I'm sure hearing good news in that regard is like a mini present, right? :P Whether you get a hold of it today or tomorrow, I'm looking forward to talking with you in your new-HD goodness. XP

Heh, I figured as much, but sure you were curious about my absence and not sure if you saw my journal I posted about a week ago about it. Sorry to worry you, though. :D

And nah, you didn't really try to talk me out of it, just stated your opinions. Me playing it was mostly just a mild curiosity, after I read about it on Wikipedia, which made it sound interesting. Am currently at the part where Geo (or whatever you named him, I went with Geo though, for this playthrough) goes back to school, heh. It is kinda weird, the battle style and not sure how battles work with the battle and favorite cards you select (like when they show up, but I may have missed or forgotten about that bit already, lol). But the story is kinda interesting and I might play the others, once I'm done with the first one (maybe even the other versions, like I did with Battle Network, as those were all ROMs as well; if there's any major difference between them, aside from which of the three satellite guardians you battle, as far as I am currently). Know there's up to 3 Star Force games currently (each with 2 versions, except the first, where there's 3 reported), but wonder if there'll be a fourth and so on (since a non-FA friend of mine said that there's always eight games in the Megaman series, aside from Battle Network, though there was the BattleChip Tournament game and one for like GameCube, I believe, hopefully you know which I speak of, so that counts as eight). :3 Sorry to have rambled on like that. X3

As I said, probably won't get much, if anything, today. Since I kind of asked for stuff I wanted late, cause I played around with figuring out what I wanted this year. :( But not like there's even much I wanted at this current time. Maybe for Christmas I will want more (like a new game I learned about some time ago for the Golden Sun series on the DS that will be available by then reportedly, that follows the previous two on the GBA system, despite that I never finished the second one, heh). And sorry, just sort of feel that way cause of where I am currently in my life, that I told you about one night when we spoke about me not having much going for me at the current time. I will hopefully resolve that soon, though.

And yeah, it is! Though I'm getting it tomorrow unfortunately, cause my mom ended up becoming too sick and had to come home early (dunno if she went back, like she said she had to, as I was asleep at the time, but probably not), but I will be back on then. And look forward to talking with you as well!

Yeah, was nice, though a little short so will probably be tired later tonight. XD And unfortunately, mom still seems to be sick, so only thing will go for me today is maybe doing some writing, even though I don't want to write on her laptop, but only thing worthwhile that will have going for my b-day while it's still before midnight (aside from getting a cake, first one I've gotten in a few years, though there's a reason for that, will tell you maybe when I return tomorrow). Yeah, I saw your journal about it, but I wasn't sure on your ETA. Like I said, it worked out good though. :]

That wasn't rambling at all! I could conjure up something much longer if I wanted, but I'll try to keep it short. XP To be honest, I wouldn't waste my time with the other versions if I were you. One of the main things with the BN series was that different versions offered different styles, crosses, chips, etc. The thing about the SF games (at least the first one) is that you can get the different forms (can't remember what they're called at the moment) just for having a Brother with that game. For example, you have Pegasus- let's say I had Leo. If we formed a Brother Bond, you could use Leo and I could use Pegasus. It's nice, and it's definitely incentive to introduce it to your friends so you don't have to buy all the other versions (XD), but it also takes away a major incentive of buying multiple versions. But once again, that's just me. If you feel like you could have fun with them all, go for it. :D Oh, and before I forget, you're going to have SO much fun with that Custom Chip stuff. My friends stopped wanting to play me after I figured that out. :3

Well, if you don't get what you're hoping for- like you said, Christmas is just around the corner. And I'm sure you'll get everything resolved soon. :]

Sorry to hear about your HD, but I hope you're mom's feeling better, too. (Sorry if that sounds really creepy. XD)

Yeah, I do remember that as well, though that's mainly for like the NaviChips, certain other MegaChips, and GigaChips, I believe. And I'm not sure if different styles were available for each version of the third one (since never took time to compare that, not that I think they should have exclusive ones), but I know what you were trying to point out, so s'cool. Not sure what you mean by Custom Chip stuff, but hopefully, I'll figure it out when the time comes or when I get far enough to be able to do that. If not, I'll be sure to remember to ask you about it, Jaki, if you wouldn't mind explaining it to me. :3

And it's fine, did want to kind of be back on today (so people could wish me a happy birthday in person, even though I'd likely be on after midnight my time zone), but I thought the odds of it happening today were very unlikely, though usually in my experiences, when my gut says something and I go against it, my gut turns out to be right. no probs =3 and to be honest, i did play quite a bit of pegasus but never completed it, there weren't many differences at all, apart from dragon/pegasus/leo form and the finishers for each form.
