Testicular cancer battle update
Well, got my right one removed September 29th as scheduled. Stayed the night in the hotel then came home and have been recovering quite well. It's a slightly strange sensation, but not a major loss. We await word to get a port and receive chemo. My body has to be well-healed before chemo starts as chemo is nonspecific and kills any and all quickly growing or multiplying cells. It would inhibit wound healing and it's also why you lose your hair.
That all said, the chemo is the least of my worries. I find myself stuck at home even more than before, and my own reclusiveness is killing me. Those that pray, pray for me that I find/be given a mentor or guide in life that would help me find my way and take initiative, any way to kill this angst and feel secure in a proper purpose for the Kingdom.
