But seriously. As someone who admires your work (read: admireS, not admireD), I gotta say. That is a dumb reason to leave. And I can only hope it's not the real reason.

In any case... I'll still be watching your work. Be it often or rare, it has always been a joy to see it, regardless of whether or not you like your own work..

Well I appreciate your admiration of my work, I'm not leaving because there are "better people than me" they just do work that is very different than what I do and I don't feel like there's a point in me staying around. I post everything I post here on dA so I might as well just keep it there. :shrugs: It's hard keeping up two sites, I feel this one gets neglected a lot. I'll be deleting evrything off of sheezyart too, which I hardly EVER update.

It's quieter here because the userbase is incredibly smaller, more "specialized", plus you have the near-assumption that you need to be (or should be) 18 to be here in the first place. The plus side is it's quieter here.

Now, I'm also on DA, so okay, whatever floats your boat, but I just thought I'd let you know is all.

To be honest I don't think that part about being different holds up well either - variety is the spice of life, after all. EVERY artist is different, some way different than others, but that's never stopped them. If you mean Sonic art is too different for FA-- I mean, come on. There is a section dedicated to Sonic work. But you probably just meant art style so I'm just being too harsh here.

If you think that keeping up with multiple accounts is a hassle I can't stop you. I'll be on DA then. c: Hoping to see new work whenever you have something to offer.

You know what, Jen, fuck all these people giving the same old bullshit arguments as to why you shouldn't leave. I ONLY see them here on FA. I don't give two shits who I insult but I doubt it has nothing to do with obsessive hobbies and personalities that seem to abound. I was given the same argument when I left FA the first time. I didn't pay them any heed then, and I wouldn't now. It was my decision for my reasons, just like your decision to leave right now. Seriously, hold your head up, do your own thing, don't let anyone try to give you faux positive reasons why you should stay. Not to assume you wouldn't do that anyway, but yeah.

Do what feels good. There's truth in the "variety" message someone had here, but there's also a point where you feel like you're too out of place to feel comfortable, or feel that you get much out of being around.

I see no problem in that. If you want to leave FA then you can do it. The most people do use FA for pervet pictures which they can't can post on dA. You don't want do pervert art any longer so I don't see any problem. But please do never leave dA. XD Good luck

welcome to the net cause even if it doesn't feel like we fit in we have to live with it along side other stuff as well but you may feel down but not out.
