Painting a zombie portrait for my favourite creepy customer - wonderful fellow; we swap B-movie suggestions on a regular basis - while listening to such things as Florence and the Machine, Metric, Mika, Leonard Cohen and Mumford and Sons (can you tell I'm shamelessly plugging wonderful music?), has truly made for a wonderful morning.

I've also been commissioned by a small theatre arts and entertainment group in St. Albert, Alberta to draw a 'Dramasaurus' for their promotional t-shirts. Oh happy joyous day!

And last but not least, my favourite, favourite, FAVOURITE art store that I spend all my paycheques at just happens to be looking for staff in the next few weeks! FFFFFFFF. Oh my god I can finally drop this job that's been causing so much stress in my life!

It's like a jigsaw falling into place; finding the friends that will stand at my side when I need them, finding the dream job I've always wanted, and finally getting my muse back.

In an hour or so, I'm going to grab a bag of green and head out into the crisp fall air to take a heavenly walk to a friend's place.
