serious and helpful critique is what I like, but most I get are compliments on it

That's always difficult to achieve, usually because people who love art see no need for correction.

That's usually my problem, and people think I'm blindly complimenting them, but really, I think there are so many great artist who need not to improve.

well when I hear it, I know I need improvement. Some people think good job is a critique, but to me pointing out major flaws or saying it is perfect is more of a critue then good job
