Let's set this down.
There is no dishonor in being a supply clerk.
There is no disgrace in being a Fobbit.
There is no shame in not being a high speed low drag super-operator.
Not everyone is a special forces delta ninja.
We are more then one person's ego. We all do our part.
There is honor in doing your job, so that the army as a whole succeeds.
There is NO HONOR in claiming to be someone you arent. In pretending to have been places and done things and earned medals and titles which you did not earn. By doing this, you are stealing.
You are a thief. What you are stealing is the intangible respect of all those who sacrificed for years to earn what you have claimed at a word, with a badge, a velcro patch on your shoulder.
But you failed, as well. Every time you look at yourself in the mirror you know that you are a sham. A hollow vessel. An empty shell. Wearing the accoutremonts of accomplishment is not the accomplishment. Those who have achieved will always have the silent pride of what they have done. They carry it where it cannot be stolen.
And sooner or later, the truth will come out...
Consider this notice. Posers will not be tolerated. We will expose you, then cast you out.

Seriously, I heard of someone getting caught with a diver badge that didn't actually earn one. Got in a lot of trouble. Not to discredit anyone, but it's like putting in for a CAB when the incoming rocket hit outside the FOB. When someone asks how you got that CAB, you can either lie or say you got it for a round that wasn't even close. Keeping in mind that a lot of other people got into firefights to earn theirs. That's just my view.

And while I do agree with you, a little tiny bit, that the U.S. is a bit too much of an interventionist lately, I'd like you to show some sort of evidence that it's millions. Of course, less intervention would include less of that fucktons of non-military foreign aid that comes from the U.S., too.
