well, to be technical. it doesn't say any "specific country" army furs, just army furs. Im honestly for it. We all shed blood for the countries we love, and just happen to have the same interests....well, one at least. Im for it.

On your profile it says your in upstate New York and I also gather that your US Army to boot, you wouldn't happen to be 10th Mountain would you? I'm not there anymore, I left in may on a MEB but it's always nice to meet a fellow mountaineer regardless:)

I say do it, I remember meeting a few German helo pilots in bagram that were furs as well, it's not like it would do any harm to give the page a try, probably do NATO instead of UN forces since it's basically us and the Brits that do the heavy lifting there and the rest are babysitters anyway. Soooo I say "you are a "GO" at this station" lol

No. They have their own nationalities webpages. I don't see why we would include foreign counterparts before our own other branches. Too much.

In addition, which coalition? Afghanistan? Iraq? Vietnam? WW2? NATO? Would you include just their ground forces or all their forces? Just seems like a potential cluster of butt-hurt. I mean, what if you were to post a memorial picture on D-Day and the Bundeswehr furs get all pissy about it?

I respect that. It is easy for a group to lose focus though. If you make this the generic Armyfurs group, that will only cause another US army furs group to sprout up, I think...

There are plenty of arguments as why to not include them and just as many if not more to include them at least in part.
I worked with many different foreign militaries while deployed to Afghanistan and we did whatever possible to work hand in hand with each other, we acknowledged that we had to endure the same things and became friends even. That being said, I say yes to the NATO section.

I've got no problems with this suggestion. While someone did point out that there will likely be some minor issues, I don't see them being major issues. Anyone who thinks they might have issues with it probably won't be asking to join anyway.
