Paranormal Activity 2 & other crud...

First deally: Still dreading the coming work week. It'll start normal at first but by Friday it's going to become hell. I still don't know how I'll be scheduled for the week after. It's going to be a mess; I can feel it.
Missed out on seeing two of my friends performing in a martial arts tournament today. Don't really want to explain why, it just...happened. So I ended up watching horror movies for most of the day; A Haunting in Connecticut and three 2007's 8 Movies To Die For films (The Deaths of Ian Stone [***], Borderlands [***], and Tooth and Nail [watching right now] ). Finished the anime series Witchblade [***]. That was a decent show. Definitely not the same as the original comic or WB show but the family dynamic between Masano and Rioko is the meat/best of the show. Rushed last episode though.
Second deally: Recently saw Paranormal Activity 2. In my opinion its much better than the first, not to say the first was bad. It's like the first was a warm-up to the real shit that goes down with this demon...only the strange thing is the sequel is really a prequel...until the last five minutes.
It starts out a little slow like before, but things heat up pretty quickly and there are plenty of jumps and scares. The plot is more developed as well, or at least the plot is done better for this group of family members.
BEWARE, I have an idea for a script for a possible third and I might post it sometime later. Of course, it has a furry twist (anthro the more appropriate term), but it's mainly an idea. Take out the Anthro or not, either way it's a interesting idea of how to continue the current plot.
That's all for now. Gonna finish watching Cannibals attack helpless victims.

Now, to respond properly to your Journal. I've heard of A Haunting in Connecticut, but I'd no interest in seeing that. While the Blair Witch was one thing, this looks entirely much more hammed up to be based on true stories. Everyone knows ghosts aren't real! Am I right?

Okay, fine. Ignore me.
I haven't heard of the other three movies you've mentioned, but I've heard of Witchblade. Wasn't that about a chick who could magically fashion a suit of armor? That looked like a decent idea, but it looked like something from Joss Wheedon.
Paranormal Activity looks all right, but I'm tired of Hollywood pitching horror movies to be more and more realistic. Why can't we have something fun and ridiculous? Why can't more horror movies be like...Attack of the Killer Tomatoes?
