I was criticizing the pretentious and hypocritical nature of your comment. That was literally one of two non-art related posts I ever made and the fact that you jumped at it with your angry ban-hammer, being a white knight for AUP, which also states that screenshots of desktops are not allowed (in which case I invite you to type in "desktop meme" into FA Search and start going on a policy-upholder spree), is pretty weak. If you want to convince me that every single post on FA abides by the AUP it's not working. And if you think the Admins have the time or inclination to start nit-picking super-specific posts for something as tedious as a screenshot from another website, then you're being detrimental to this site by wasting these people's time.

No dear, what I was saying was that it was against the AUP. Not that you should be banned, or suspended, nothing like that. Just that you should probably take it down.
And I know not everybody follows the rules; that doesn't mean if you KNOW something shouldn't be uploaded, that you should anyway, because everybody else is doing it.
I'm only "perpetuating drama" because what you said was offensive to me, because you criticized my art, when you have what? One thing you drew? And the rest is writing with other people's art as thumbnails.
So maybe if you would have gone "Oh, it's against the AUP? Alright, I'll either take it down or wait for the admins to. Thanks for the heads up." instead of flipping your shit, there would be no drama.

Also, it's not like I hunted you down or anything. I saw it on the front page. When I see things I know are against the AUP on the front page, I tell the person. And usually people get it and react calmly.

First off, I never criticized your art. I criticized the stuff you posted that WASN'T art because the nature of your comment implied that what I had posted wasn't art either and for that reason shouldn't be on an art site. Perhaps if you had clarified instead of being more en-passant, I wouldn't have retorted.

Secondly, I couldn't help but notice that you referred to art as "things you [draw]". I may not be an artist in the traditional sense, but I do write poetry and I write it under complex metric rules (i.e: Anapestic heptameter) which actually takes a lot of work as opposed to people who jot something 'emotional' down in a few minutes and post it on FA. if you take users like  D-tail or  Maxgoof who take Poetic Theory to heart, they'd have found that comment a bit off. I understand that you were making a point because you were under the impression that I was criticizing your drawing (which I was not), but even you are aware of tendentious nature of saying that someone who posts art has to exclusively be drawing it. The thumbnails I use are all public domain and free, accessible to everyone.

Thirdly, on a non-related point about critique that I won't lecture on too deeply because it's irrelevant but I still need to address it because you seem to imply that someone who criticizes your art (your actual drawings and not the stuff I mentioned) needs to be an artist or know how to draw? I mean people who critique my poetry don't need to be poets, and people who critique films aren't filmmakers... so empirically it doesn't make sense to say "you criticized my art, when you have what? One thing you drew?" to anyone. I hope you understand my point. That said, there's no such thing as valid or non-valid critique in the same way that there isn't any right or wrong way to draw art. Something like cubism can't be said to be drawn "wrong" simply because it's not anatomically correct. But I digress.

Your claim is that I'm butt-hurt because someone else has a differing opinion than mine. It has nothing to do with whether or not I broke the AUP and it was made on the basis that I commented on a journal intended to spread hate my way (which it did effectively).
