Shit, I know how you feel. I recently needed a root canal (follow up appointment tomorrow to get it finished T_T) because a previous dentist really screwed up my tooth... cue DREADFUL pain. Couldn't sleep through it. Couldn't sit still.

Some Hydrocodone later... oh man, the pain relief ;_; Felt like a big fuzzy blanket of okay and not-in-pain ness.

Codeine is the one med that badly fucks me up but not bad enough for me not to take it; basically I get dizzy and it's dangerous to keep my eyes open so I end up spending the whole day sleeping. Which...when I'm willing to do that and am not bored out of my mind, isn't really all that bad. (But sleeping a lot REALLY GETS OLD for me.)
