Hope you're all having a lovely Oct. 31st.
this holiday has always meant a great deal to me. & apparently my entire neighborhood too.
It's been a lot of work so far. I'll try & take some good pictures.
Also, i saw that horror films meme & wanted to share my list before the season is through. The horror genre also means a lot to me, as is made pretty obvious by some of my work.
So here they are:
1. Alien
2. The Thing (1982)
3. Videodrome
4. An American Werewolf in London
5. The Gate (seen at a very young age. scared the shit out of me)
6. Hellraiser
7. Poltergeist
8. A Nightmare on Elm St. (1984)
9. Halloween III: Season of the Witch
10. Gozu (truly amazing film, & certainly unsettling enough to be considered horror)
So if you haven't already, try watching one of these... preferably tonight ^^
& again, wishing you all a very happy Halloween!!
Have fun and eat lots of candy!!!

FA+

Save for Videodrome and Gozu, i first saw these listed films at a very tender age (thanks dad!), and they subsequently had a huge impact on me.
We have Gozu on the Instant Stream, but haven't watched it yet. I hear it'll make you never want to drink milk again. Now you have me curious to watch it... I keep hearing so much good stuff about Takashi Miike and still haven't seen any of his movies.
Be sure to watch it straight from beginning to end.
I'll send pics soon ^^
Great stuff, regardless :)
