I've started school again... And I'm completely DEPRESSED!!!!!!! OMG! I can't take this. I've started monday and I have to drive back and forth from school. I'm in class from about 8:00 until 3:30 EVERY FREAKIN D A Y!!!! With all my damn classes and having to get up at freakin 6 in the morning then driving a 30 - 40 min drive to school then driving BACK home and having to work along with my homework, I feel about D E A D!!! I would've preferred to stay in the dorms, but nooo... I have to fuckin drive back and forth... AND I have to pay $4.28 for lunch everyday. GODDAMNITALL!! By the time I'm done, I might as well STAY IN THE FUCKIN DORMS!!!!!!! I come home about 4 and fall asleep on the couch if I don't work and I get up about 8 then go to bed about 10, 10:30... It's driving me NUTS!!! I jus can't handle this. I'm completely exhausted and I come home with headaches every afternoon... I don't think I can handle this.... *sits in the corner and cries*

Still, these are very different times than the ones I grew up in and "it doesn't seem to me as though I'm living in the same country I grew up in,"!!
I think I might have an idea that will help though: It sounds to me like you're running out of energy waaaaaaaaaaaay to early in the day. Let's face it: you got a lot to deal with not just in the things you have to do for each of your classes but in the time it takes you to to it!!! Try this: Get yerself some Stresstab brand vitamins and make sure you get up early enough to fix some eggs, for protein, (scramble 'em hard!) some toast, for quick carbs and some strong,GOOD, coffee or tea. (two bags of black tea per cup) Take one or two Stresstabs before you eat and make sure you wash them down with a LOT of water in addition to your coffee or tea!! (this is to make sure they dissolve and get in your system)
Also, try and give yourself enough time to get to your first class a little early so you can grab a tall or venti Starbucks ( or any coffee on campus) once or twice a week. Having a little time to "cool out", before you start the grind can make a big difference!!! Give it a try Sweetheart!!!!
Yeah, I know what you mean where sleeping in gives you a little extra sack time and puts you on the road a little later than the rush but, believe it or not, that schedule is one of the main reasons you're crashing the way you are! By cutting out that morning nutritional bump and tearing headlong into your first class, you're basically "taking off in a car that's running on empty." You're running outta gas way before you get to lunch and by the time you do eat something it's too late to get your body back on schedule.
Lemmee tell you something someone told me a loooooooooooooooooong time ago: "If you can get to an appointment a half hour late it's just as easy to get there a half hour early." What that means is that if all the difference you make with jumping up and running around without breakfast is getting to class right on time, you might be able to get up just as easily a half hour or so earlier and eat something and beat the "early", side of the traffic to school. It sucks that there's no Starbucks or good coffee shop on the way but Dunkin Donuts has been making pretty good coffee for two years now, (and it's really strong and good!) Way back when I worked for Pepsi-Cola we used to drive out of our way for that coffee! They changed it about ten years ago but "it's back!!" Also, believe it or not, Mac-Donalds is making good coffee!!! Since the price of Starbucks went up (AGAIN!!!) I've been stopping there more often and their coffee is a pretty good way to start in the morning. (Don't tell me you don't have a Mac-Donalds there!!!) If one of those is on the way, you could stop and get what I do when I'm running late: One or two egg busciuts with an order of those fired potatoes and a LARGE coffee. That's enough to keep me going until the early afternoon. AND REMEMBER: TAKE YOUR VITAMINS ALONG WITH YOU AND TAKE THEM WITH WATER (or a small soda) JUST BEFORE YOU EAT.
And another thing: when you eat lunch, don't cram down a big meal with a lot of meat in it! That will make you feel bloated and the digestion process that will start soon after you eat will make you feel sluggish and sleepy. Think of lunch as a "snack", something light like one cinnamon roll with coffee or bottled carbonated water. (or even a soda is o.k.,) That's for a short burst of carbs that will help you concentrate in the afternoon. The trick is, not tooooooooooo much!! If anything, spend the money you've got for lunch on something at Micky D's in the morning and just eat a cupcake or, if they've got 'em, a couple of apples from the cafeteria.
We've got two Micky D's in town.. tho I work in a fast food place that I gotta pass anyway thats jus inside our town before I leave for my drive to school. Tho, we don't have a Dunkin Donuts either.. T_T yeah, I know. It sux.. lol
But I'm trying to carry my lunch with me, which tends to be a turkey sandwich and a bite size candy bar. And I carry a dollar to get a bottled water. And I tend to grap a couple fries or something off my friends' plates.. lol They did it to me last semester, I'm returning the favor. XD
I'm thinking about stopping to get a scrambled egg, hashbrown and a toast when I stop to get my check in the morning tho. Hows that sound? ^^ Well, I gotta jet. I'm bummed out and gotta get up in the morning.. T_T Since I stayed out with my gf too late last night (my mom went to the sheriffs office... O.o??) and I got grounded for it.. *bangs head on keyboard*
Btw, the apples in the cafeteria suck... XP lol
