back from america

well i am now back from my week in North Carolina as most of you should have noticed. Anyways, i am only going to give a brief overview of what it was like as i am going to do a sort of fly-on-the-wall prose piece thats going to be highly detailed about it, it may either look at certain times during it, certain people there or just take dribs and drabs as it comes. i tried thinking about it in my head and i just wanted to pack more and more in. so that will follow soonish.
Overview. you already heard about DC so i shall skip that, sunday morning up for 7 15 departure and a long drive to Corolla, stopping before the bridge to the island to pick up about $280 of farm produce at a market we saw. that day there were only to be 11 of us, and the last 6 to arrive early the next day. I went with my friend brie 17, her brother 15 and sister 12, her parents her dad's brother (plus wife and two sons, 6 and 10) and her dad's mother arrived that day. her mum's sister (and her husband and son 18 and daughter 16 plus the daughter's boyfriend 19) and her mum's dad made up all 17 of us. house on the beach all the 5 teens in one room brie's sister with the grandma, brother with the grandfather, the two young boys took a room so rooms were easy enough slightly cramped for all us teens on bunkbeds. there was a pool and a jacuzi, we were right on the beech and the weather was boiling every day apart from a storm on friday from 1am till 6 30am. we spent most days on the beach, or playing cards (either ways we were drinking loads!!!) went jetskiing one day. it was just an awesome trip. i loved brie's aunt Erin and grandmother June, they were my drinking and card buddies. me and june won $50 each in bets off of erin due to cards. hilarious fun. the whole family you could talk to about anything. Caroline (the 16yr old) was cool, her boyfriend Toni was fascinated by me as i was the first non american he had ever met! XD her brother Nick was SO hot. but anyways. damn his straightness. funny anecdote about him anyway but i shall keep that for anyone who asks. i loved it there wish i was still there but me and Erin and her husband and Nick, Caroline and Toni all had our flights back on saturday so its been rather split up now... June was sad to see her drinking partners leave but she lives down in Florida near Erin and her kids so it should be fine. i should go out and visit some time... flight home was terrible. we landed 20 mins early got stuck on the runway as there was nowhere to park for 2 and a bit hours, and BA managed to lose my bag somewhere along the way, so i have lost loads of clothes and stuff, my contacts, my tennis racket, my sunglasses, a really nice suitcase that i use for school and also all the stuff in my washbag, including rather essential supplies. damn my extra Reading Festival fun is ruined...
sorry that was longer than intended but the trip was awesome and BA have aggravated me...
