Who here works in retail?
I have been in the grocery retail business for about three years now. Steady pay and the experience in handling people is in its own way rewarding, but I long for more. Retail to me means stability and learning about patience in the sense about how to cope with low point in life. Look don't get me wrong, I like the money, I like surviving in the world. But at the cost of dignity and precious time? I was much happier in high school probably because I took matters in my on hands about my personal initiative to get ahead. See retail kinda drains motivation for me. You almost feel like there is no way out.
I need to start taking initiative personal goals, but I guess one question I feel I should ask you with jobs is if you feel stuck and if so has that job made you feel like you cant escape or pursue things you have always wanted?
