Had a blast helping out at the local animal shelter today. Cant wait to help out again but sadly it probably wont be until after the holidays. All the cats and dogs were so full of personality (normally i dont like cats that much but these guys were awesome). Ended up washing a ton of wine glasses (dont ask cause idk) and making fun dog treats and hanging out with them.
While i was there 5 dogs where brought in and only one was adopted. At this shelter only 20% of the animals find homes while the others sadly die without knowing a real home; thats about 900 animals. I wish i could take them all home its so easy to fall in love as soon as you walk in. I understand how people can become animal hoarders. I felt so bad leaving them =(
