Youtube Uploadage

General
Okay, I have converted some old VHS recordings I had to DVD and wanna put one of the chapters on Youtube. It's an interview I'd like to be able to share... but it keeps saying it failed at processing or something. I tried to save it to my desktop and when I click the chapter to upload it's done instantly and then says "processing".
So, any tips?

It sounds like you tried to upload the wrong file, what with the length being so short and it failing at processing.
What you need to look for is a file named something like *.VOB, which is really a renamed MPEG file.
(on commercially-produced DVDs, these files are encrypted, but if you created the disc yourself, they'll be unencrypted, meaning you can view them with any movie player you want)
The IFO files are information files that only point to the video information, while the VOB files are simply renamed MPEG files.
Just go ahead and rename it to something.mpg and you'll be good to go for uploading it.
(though I'd recommend previewing it in a video player like Windows Media Player or what-have-you)
In general, you want to look for the largest files.
(as I gather that they change the name every once in a while on me)
