THEY CAN TAKE OUR CUB PORN BUT THEY CAN'T TAKE OUR FREEDOM!

Those of you bound and determined to save cub porn from the evil, malicious clutches of THE ADMINISTRATION should probably stop and consider the fact that the change is being made due to certain European laws that either already exist or are soon to exist (I'm not exactly sure which).
Generally, I find the administrative collective of this site to be about as competent as a tuna sandwich, but in this case, I have to side with them, provided that they keep the pair that they're trying to grow and uphold the prohibition. They're not doing it because they are The Man and they want to hold you down, maaaaaan. They're doing it because if they don't, The Man WILL hold them down. Do you really want your favorite spank bank website to go the way of the dodo?

FA+

Can't they jerk it to porn depicting characters that are obviously over the age of 18?
You play a mean devil's advocate, son.
My opinion on cub porn is what it is, but it's beside the point. I don't think the admins' opinions about it are factoring in either at this point, though.
The furaffinity servers are located within the United States, and the company in question which cancelled its payment processing service to furaffinity (and, in the process, seized money donated by furaffinity users to the site for its operation) is located in Canada. No European nation nor laws are involved.
I haven't really had the time or the desire to update the journal to reflect that, but again, at the time the prevailing wisdom was that it was due to EU law that the change was being made.
Either way, the change was borne of external persuasion, so my point still stands as made, just with slightly different specifics.
I believe what I believe, you believe what you believe, and never the twain shall meet.
