10 Day Meme : Day Five
Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever)
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now.
Day Ten: One confession
Day Five:
Frankly, I'm jealous of those who can say, "My past makes me who I am - I regret nothing!", then proceed to skip this one. I wish I was one of those people...but seeing as how I'm totally dissatisfied with who I am today, I guess it naturally follows that I should regret my past, right? XD
1) Moving to California. Lovely place, with fun people, but in doing so, I leapt from the stovetop (I'd juuuust recently extricated myself from the frying pan) directly into the fire. It set me directly on the path to doom.
2) Convincing myself that "One more semester!" was a good idea. If I'd had half a brain in my head, I'd have gotten it over ASAP, and I'd likely have a degree right now to show for it.
3) Letting my exasperation get the best of me, and not taking her fears seriously. I'd give my very life to have averted that disaster.
4) Trusting that my folks would actually send me the boxes that contain everything I owned in this world. It's been nearly five years, and they're still sitting in an unsealed, uninsulated shed, likely ruined.
5) Spending preeeeetty much the entire 90s asleep on a couch. I kid you not. XD
6) Letting things get to this point. I've made the wrong decision at pretty much every. Single. Point. A different choice at just about *any* of them would likely have completely changed my present. I seriously should do what George (from Seinfeld) did one time : Think about what my decision is, then blindly do the opposite. Can't lose! ;D
