MWFF 2010
After a long days work, the bear is home long enough to finally get settled in, after this year's con of course.
All things started off well and continued to get better as I landed down in Chicago to soon meet up with Tolstoy, whom I immediately forced to watch the new Scott Pilgrim movie. Once the movie was over, we both went off to meet up with Drakoknight at the O'hare airport and took a small little field trip to the Hilton, though I did my best to convince them that it wasn't. Thereafter it was pizza and then bed for all of us.
As for the con itself, I certainly missed quite a number of furs, but I was glad to have had the chance to speak in depth with lots of folks I don't normally have the time to do so with. Pachyman, Captain Furry and Specs, it was great to meet with all of you better and get to know all of you moreso than what I did before. As for you Blimpwolf, you were constantly making each day better and better. Drakoknight, it was great to meet you in person and even better to finally have another Texan in the group, though we'll soon be overtaking the entire fat fur group. *chuckles* Spyke, Kobo, Range, Bungle, Blue and Axel, it was nice to see all of you again. If I am forgetting anyone, I do sincerely apologize, my mind ain't what it used to be.
Tolstoy, as always, it was great to spend time with you. Every moment is something I treasure, as you certainly ain't boring. Though if ya try and get me in trouble with your mom anymore, I'll have to put that laser dot on your belly and let Oso go at it, that or just punch ya into cookies and keep ya held in my pocket.
To all the new folks that I met at the con, it truly was a pleasure to see and meet you all. Can't say I have any regrets, except for seeing a few too many trans. Though one of the folks in a dress WAS A GIRL! WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THAT?
As for my flight, yes it was most certainly pushed back 3 or four times till 7:20 when I was supposed to have been gone at 5:05. It was a blessing yet bad at the same. It meant I got to spend another hour, joking about with Tol in the baggage claim before passing through the gates. While there though, a fur has nothing much to do but look back over all the fun he's had over the past few days. Eventually I did get home, at about 11, then had to fight my way through baggage claim and met up with my ol' friend Neon Grizzly, at which we soon ate. Then there was the hour and a half long drive home.
MWFF 2010, success.
I hope to see you all next year
