Best fucking RPG I've played ever. Period. I have yet to play an RPG with a story this good, it's got all of the quirk and humor the other games had, but there's so much more to this game, I refuse to spoil any of it but I won't lie when I say I choked up at the end. See Square? That's how you write a fucking story. The Mother series has accomplished so much in THREE games. Far far more than Final Fantasy has done in... What? 15 now?
Forget pre rendered cutscenes, forget HD graphics, sit down, shut up, and enjoy one of the best stories out there.
I'll leave it at that, I need to get some sleep after staying up all night finishing this game.

It is rather funny though, that in recent years the Dragon Quest games have been much, much better then Final Fantasy from a gameplay standpoint, despite being the same company for the past decade; VIII was absolutely incredible, not to mention a rare case where the game was IMPROVED when it went overseas. But yeah, I dunno what is up with Nintendo.. they keep showing characters like Ness and Lucas in other games like Smash Bros., but refuse to bring any of the other games over here. But they DID start bringing over Fire Emblem. What the heck?
