A common sense look at the ban on adult cub art...

I've seen both sides, and i have one thing to say:
It all boils down to the fact we can all takes sides & bitch all we want on EITHER side about the ban, but in the end FA is a private site. It's not a democracy, its not something you can call a congressman to change. Dragoneer pays for & runs the site, so its his rules. He doesn't want the underage adult art for a VERY valid reason. So people can suck it up & deal or leave. Our opinions and thoughts on it don't matter because in the end, its not our website. If furs want to make a cub art site, they can do that. But, from now on, sexual cub art is no more on FA. So just deal and move on with life...
On a positive upside to all this, all the artists who left FA until sexual cub art was banned will now come back, so we're getting a LOT more good art out of the deal.

Then this happened. He's not talking about today, but about tomorrow. What if tomorrow is a ban on MLPs? because they represent child-hood figures? Nyeh, says a pink pony?
It's all fine and good until someone comes after what you do. Then you want someone to stand up for you, and you don't want someone to say 'Oh, well, when they're gone, much better people will come back.'
There are some great artists that FA is going lose now with this ban and that's really sad. If you have a chance and you're not "squicked" by cub art check out asthexiancal's stuff. He draws characters from TV quite spot on.
I'll be folliowing him and that's my choice yes, I'll be on FA still but I don't know, I can't help but thinking that MinnieShoof has a good point.
