Tch, Like I'm a scout?

My day is kinda ruined because I was looking forward to bacon this morning, I got up to the dining room half an hour ago, and it was all gone with only the lingering smell and a skillet and my folks teased me about it >:/

You should go out and buy new bacon...wake up before everyone else one morning and fill the air with bacon smell...and then offer everyone else in the house a single piece...I don't mean one for each, I mean a single piece...and then demand that they fight for your amusement for the privilege to eat the single bacon.

Lol, if only, though I discovered they had it hidden in the microwave and mom felt guilty for making me feel left-out.

I did, sadly I'd scalded my tongue on hot chocolate at work yesterday :C So the texture was none too friendly on my tongue, but still good. Now to feed my fish their Thanksgiving breakfast

I seriously can't understand this "holiday". All i get from this is that you meet up with people you don't really associate with on a continuous basis, eat too much food, watch football and/or play madden, and give thanks for things in your life of something?

it's a national holiday designed to celebrate the supposed kindliness of the american natives when the first precursors of what would come to be the US arrived here in New England. It's a national holiday, and like christmas, we only have to celebrate it - no instructions are given on how. I've been celebrating it for 21 years, and I STILL don't get most of it.
Tho I do know that we eat a shit ton in order to mimic the feast supposedly shared by the natives and colonists upon their meeting, and I believe the football stuff started out as just the guys being bored as fuck and needing something to do, and eventually it spread and became a tradition.
