I'm thinking we should form a club or something.

Happens to me with songs, only FORGETTING the riff or solo or such. Especially if its a good one, makes me want to just give up @.@

boy have I been there.

This happens to me at work ALL the time.

It happens to me when I'm working out...or really any other time I'm not at my computer or drawing desk.

Yeah, well 12 hours of manual labor and tedium will make anyone's mind complacent and start to wander. :3

That too. And sometimes it's even something you don't want to be working on but HAVE TO.

This is why when I next upgrade my phone I want to get one that I can doodle on. No more ideas lost to the aether because of bad timing.

That's why I have Colors on my DS and why I carry that sucker around everywhere. :D

I was just thinking! I try to get in the habit of carrying a small notepad with me and jot down notes. I try not to make it too obscure, or I may not remember what my note is about later. :)

The problem isn't remembering the idea...it's just that once I can draw...I don't want to anymore >.>

That sounds about right, yeah.

That happens most of the time I try to draw something. My enthusiasm seldom survives the two hours of drawing and erasing and redrawing guide lines that generally precedes any useful illustration. Ironically, the problem is surely self-perpetuating, because a lack of practice makes me suck and sucking makes it take longer for me to get the composition right.

If I were sober all the time, I'd do too much worrying and fuck around with guide lines too much to get any actual work done; fortunately, I'm not, so it happens on rare occasions that I finish something.
